Maria Williams
Maria graduated from the University of Arizona in 1997 with a BA in Political Science and Anthropology. While attending the UA she was an Orientation Leader and Student Coordinator, student worker in the Office of Minority Student Recruitment, and member of Project Volunteer. After graduation, she continued to work in the Office of Admissions as a Transfer Student Admissions Counselor and eventually Program Coordinator for New Student Orientation. Maria eventually left the UA to pursue a career in Corporate Recruiting.
She currently lives in Tucson, AZ with her husband Danny who is also an UA alum (Eller College class of 2002) and two beautiful girls. Her oldest, Mikayla, is a 2nd generation Wildcat and Freshman in the W.A. Franke Honors College with plans to major in Engineering. Gabriella is in 7th grade, a competitive gymnast, and loves to read. When not working, Maria enjoys crafting, gardening, being President of the Springs Gymnastics Booster Club and just being a full-time mom and spouse. Maria looks forward to being part of the University of Arizona again in her capacity as a board member. She can’t wait to help other Wildcat parents learn more about all of the great services and experiences UA will offer their Wildcat.
