At the University of Arizona, we believe that parents and family members can be partners in the college experience. The transition to college is momentous, filled with many questions and lots of planning. The Family Essentials Orientation is one resource to help answer your most asked questions.
The Bursar's Office
The Bursar's Office is a division of Financial Services and helps provide students with their account and billing information, payment processing, delivery of student refunds, collection of delinquent student accounts and banking and merchant services for University of Arizona departments.
Campus Health
Campus Health is committed to promoting health, wellness, and safety at The University of Arizona by providing quality medical and mental health care, and outstanding health education to assist all students in succeeding as a whole person in their college career and beyond.
Campus Safety
The University of Arizona Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) – composed of various campus officials – focuses primarily on the management of situations involving critical incidents on campus. Its involvement is central to the successful implementation of the Campus Emergency Response Plan.
Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid
A full array of financial aid options are available to help cover the cost of your student's education including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. Be sure your student completes the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and their Arizona admissions application by our priority financial aid deadline by May 1st for the most need-based aid consideration. Students who complete their application by May 1st will be considered for our merit scholarships.
Housing & Residential Life
The University of Arizona’s dorms come in all shapes, sizes and locations across our four areas of campus (Districts) – which means you have a lot of choices! Think about your lifestyle. Do you like to be surrounded by a lot of people, or do you prefer to know everyone in your building? Is the location on campus important? Is cost a factor? Thinking about these questions will help you choose your AZ home.
Student Unions Meal Plan

Wayfinders is an advising service provided by the Advising Resource Center to help new students find their way (academic and otherwise). The Wayfinders are here to help you find your academic home and will support you as you navigate college.
This is the official, Faculty Senate approved Academic Calendar for the University of Arizona. While dates may be subject to change, this is where you will find any important dates for every semester and school year. It is very important to be aware of the dates for registration, withdrawal, and other academic procedures.

The University of Arizona contracts with vendors to provide you with additional fee-based services while living on campus. There are also a few services that can be pre-loaded into your room before you arrive to Move-In, with free delivery and pick up! This makes moving in (and out) of your room that much easier!
Campus Closet is an ASUA service organization that collects and then distributes - free of charge - gently used or new business, professional, and casual clothing to University of Arizona students, faculty and staff members who cannot acquire the items otherwise. These visitors then go on to use their free clothing items for obligations such as interviews, internships, professional events, and/or daily wear.
The mission of the UA Campus Pantry is to alleviate hunger in the UA Wildcat community by providing food assistance to those in need. At our distribution events, students and staff can grab important food staples at no cost!

LifeLab is a program provided by Student Engagement and Career Development and is designed to support any student — from first-year undergraduates to graduate students — to identify values, skills, receive feedback and suggestions to improve your resume, or begin the search process for internships, grad school, or full-time jobs.
Student licenses covered under the Microsoft® Campus Agreement (MCA) enables UA students subscription to Office 365 Education (Microsoft software in the cloud) plan. This plan allows you to install Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs and on other mobile devices, including Android, iPad®, and Windows tablets.
When students are in crisis or feel overwhelmed, they often turn to their parents for help and advice. Parents can be helpful in so many ways, but they may not always know where to turn for support and resources. Parents Matter is a free consultation service offered by CAPS, a component of Campus Health.

The Department of Parking and Transportation Services provides creative solutions for campus access and promotes alternative transportation for faculty, staff, students, and visitors at the University of Arizona. The department's mission is to provide superior quality service through leadership, innovation, and stewardship.
SafeRide is a free transportation service for University of Arizona affiliates. Since 1981, SafeRide has provided a nighttime alternative to walking alone on campus and in the Tucson community.
It is managed and operated entirely by students under the sponsorship of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA). As an academic service, SafeRide’s mission is to serve those going to or from campus, while also providing a friendly and official presence on the streets at night.
Support Outreach Success (SOS) supports all Arizona community members, with a focus on enhancing the student experience. When students have a central place or simple way to have questions answered and to seek support, they are more successful. Whether a student has too much information or too little, SOS will help. SOS supports Arizona staff, faculty, current and prospective students, and community members. Truly anyone can use SOS.

Student Success & Retention Innovation (SSRI) works to support the success of undergraduate students through individualized academic support, academic skill-building, tutoring, peer mentoring, and creating community using strengths-based programming, evidence-based practices, and robust assessment.
An advocate is a trained professional whose goal is to support and center the needs of the student/survivor. When a student meets with a Survivor Advocate the content of that meeting is confidential, meaning that no one needs to know the meeting took place or what was discussed, unless the student decides they would like to disclose that information to others. Additionally, meeting with an advocate does not obligate a student to do any process or procedure either on or off-campus. The purpose of meeting with an advocate is so that a student survivor of sexual or gender-based violence understands their rights and their options and how they would like to proceed.
