Emergency blue light telephones provide direct access to UAPD. Blue lights mark their locations. Use these phones to contact the police department for any reason. The emergency telephones are illuminated by a blue light and marked "EMERGENCY."

LiveSafe, an app available for iOS and Android phones, was developed in order to provide real-time interaction for UArizona students and employees reporting security and safety concerns. www.livesafemobile.com

SafeRide is a free transportation service for University of Arizona affiliates. Since 1981, SafeRide has provided a nighttime alternative to walking alone on campus and in the Tucson community. It is managed and operated entirely by students under the sponsorship of the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA). As an academic service, SafeRide's mission is to serve those going to or from campus, while also providing a friendly and official presence on the streets at night.

SafeRide requires showing your CatCard to get a ride to confirm your affiliation as an active student, staff, or faculty member with the University.

Hours

Monday - Thursday | 6:30pm - 12:30am

Friday | 6:00pm - 10:00pm 

Calls & new ride requests are not accepted between 8:45pm - 9:00pm to allow time for our drivers to change shifts.
