Annamarie Tellez M.Ed
Annamarie serves as the Director, of Outreach and Events within the Division of Student Affairs. Inclusive of this role she is dedicated to fostering strong partnerships between the university and the families who support their students. She leads various initiatives designed to inform, connect, and empower families and supporters as essential partners in their student's college journey.
Annamarie started her career in higher education as the Coordinator for Parent & Family Programs within the Dean of Students Office. In July 2019, shifted to Enrollment Management, where she contributed to the university's mission of supporting the success of high-potential students. Her commitment to both student and family engagement has led her to present at regional and national conferences focused on communication and programming in Higher Education.
Annamarie is also an active member of the Association for Higher Education in Parent Program Professionals (AHEPPP), serves on the board for the Father’s Day Council of Tucson, and advises Kappa Delta Chi, Delta Chapter, at the University of Arizona.
As Tucson natives and proud University of Arizona alumni, Annamarie and her husband both began their academic journeys through the U of A New Start program. They enjoy spending time with their three children, who are currently enrolled as Wildcats. Annamarie holds a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
