5th Annual Campus Pantry Benefit Dinner
In February, we will be hosting a Benefit Dinner to raise funds for students in the UA community who are struggling with food insecurity. The event will be held on February 11, 2022, starting at 6PM at North and South ballroom. Our event is expected to draw 400 people! The event will be led by our student leaders and will include a silent auction, a tour of both the Campus Pantry and the rooftop greenhouse, dinner, an address by our keynote speaker Dani Carrillo from Fostering Success, and fun door prizes. But we need your help to make our event successful!
There are many ways that people in the community can support our event. For one, you can attend! Our registration is now open, and you can find more information here. Attendees can either purchase a seat at a table for $40 dollars each or sponsor a table, which includes 10 seats and meals for $600. This sponsorship can either be for your family/friends and members of your organization to attend with you, or you can sponsor a table for Campus Pantry student staff and volunteers to be in attendance as well. Sponsors will be recognized with signage in the pantry throughout the event’s tours and in our event program that will be distributed to all guests. If you are interested in finding other ways to support the pantry, please consider building us a basket of your choice to donate to our Silent Auction/Raffle! This can be designed and filled in whatever way you like! You can also connect us to local businesses who you believe would be interested in making in-kind donations or gift certificates to our silent auction to help support our event.
If you have any questions about our service or the event or how you can support us, please email us at uofacampuspantry@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration of our request to help ensure no member of the Wildcat community goes hungry.
