Wildcat Welcome and Connecting to Campus

We are excited to welcome thousands of students and their families to campus in August.   Both new and returning students will have the opportunity to attend events, connect with resources, and meet their fellow Wildcats.   We hope the summer months have given your Wildcat the opportunity to rest, relax, and engage in work, internships or other opportunities that help them move toward their long-term goals.

Wildcat Welcome & Wildcat Connections

Wildcat Welcome, a combination of multiple university-wide events, houses its operations in Student Success & Retention Innovation(SSRI) with support from Admissions & New Student Orientation. Wildcat Welcome hosts and markets events and resources to students within the first few weeks of each semester. During and after Destination Arizona find the first events that will welcome you to campus. Efforts to connect students are then continued throughout the year by Wildcat Connections, also housed within SSRI. Wildcat Welcome brings together departments from across campus to leverage different audiences to reach the largest number of students and their supporters. Our goal is to assist students in making the right connections so they have a sense of belonging on campus.

Students and families can find the SSRI, SOS or Welcome tables at resource fairs during Destination Arizona and Parent & Family Programs events in August.

Visit  Wildcat Welcome for updates or text Welcome to 70542.

SOS

Throughout the year students and their supporters can use SOS to answer any questions they may have. From information on deadlines, contact information, or how to find activities on campus.  There are no questions to small or big.  SOS will answer questions or connect individuals with the correct people.
