Let’s Start Exploring Majors!

Hello, parents and families!

The A Center is proud to offer our Virtual Meet Your Major Fair this fall and it is set to open to students on Wednesday, September 22.

Students will begin on the Prepare for the Fair page, where they are given the opportunity to take the My Majors assessment; this will take about 15 minutes and give the student a list of 10 majors that could be a good fit for their interests. Students will then progress to the Virtual Meet Your Major Fair where they will have access to short videos about majors across campus, divided into the following categories:

  • Arts and Media
  • Education and Human Development
  • Social Behavior and Human Understanding
  • Science
  • Engineering
  • Health-Related
  • Languages and Culture
  • Business and Industry
  • Wildcat Wildcards

This is a great way to get started on the major exploration process!

Students will also find resources to guide them through next steps following the Fair which will help them continue to progress through the major exploration process. Academic advisors in The A Center are here to help and support students through every step, so please encourage your student to schedule an appointment with us!
