Already Have a Health Insurance Plan?
Campus Health is a participating provider to most United Healthcare, Aetna, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, and Health Net plans for primary care services. Please check directly with your insurance carrier if Campus Health is a participating provider under your plan (Tax ID 74-2652689). If Campus Health is not part of your network, you can consider the following options: CampusCare or Student Health Insurance.

Additionally, students may choose to enroll for one of two health care options – CampusCare or the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) Student Health Insurance Plan (underwritten by Aetna). Enrollment is available during the published open enrollment period.

Student Health Insurance Plan (underwritten by Aetna)
This is a top-tier medical policy with nationwide coverage and an emergency benefit worldwide. Under this plan, Campus Health serves as the Primary Care Provider. Students have direct access to Emergency Rooms, participating Urgent Care facilities, an Annual Routine Eye Exam, and OB/GYN services, including preventative and routine services received from in-network providers. For policy information, please visit: www.health.arizona.edu/student-health-insurance

CampusCare
This health care option serves as an ideal bridge for students covered by any type of health plan, where one may have a high deductible, limited benefits or no coverage for charges incurred at Campus Health. CampusCare is not an insurance policy. CampusCare covers most expenses after a designated office visit fee for services provided exclusively at Campus Health. For more information, please visit: www.health.arizona.edu/campuscare

Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for the Student Health Insurance and CampusCare is generally open two months prior to the start of the semester. In compliance with the UA email policy, all open enrollment notices and information regarding the health care options are sent to the student's official UA email.

Please Note: Open Enrollment for Spring closed January 26, 2022.

Students who missed the Spring Open Enrollment and are enrolled for summer courses, have the option to add coverage during the Summer Open Enrollment.

Summer Insurance Eligibility: Summer students are eligible for the session they are showing at least 1 unit in; summer pre-session, 1st or 2nd session. Summer enrollment must be maintained through the entire eligibility period. For summer enrollment/cancellation, submit an “Enrollment/Cancellation” form securely.

Summer CampusCare Eligibility: UA students are eligible for CampusCare if they are registered for at least 1 registration unit. Spring CampusCare enrollees have the option to add summer coverage without needing a summer registration unit. Enrollment is optional for Summer CampusCare and Spring enrollees will not be auto-enrolled for summer coverage. To enroll, submit an “Enrollment/Cancellation” form securely.

Enrolling AFTER an Open Enrollment Period Has Closed
