Renée Marquez, M.Ed.

Assistant Director, Student Transitions & Customer Service

Renée Marquez serves as the Assistant Director of Student Transition and Customer Service at the University of Arizona, where she leads efforts to connect and engage parents, families, and supporters of prospective and current students for Future Wildcat Families. Understanding that families are vital partners in a student’s success, Renée and her team are dedicated to providing guidance, communication, and resources that help families feel confident and connected from the admissions process through graduation. 

Renée is an active member of the Association of Higher Education Parent/Family Programming Professionals, where she has presented at regional conferences and contributed to discussions on student success and family engagement in higher education.

Since joining the University of Arizona, Renée has held several impactful roles within Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Management and Parent & Family Programs, continuously championing the student and family experience.

A proud first-generation college graduate and Wildcat alumna, Renée earned her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Business in Higher Education from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Outside of work, Renée enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, sharing a love for the great outdoors and the spirit of adventure.
