Christine Espinosa

Prior to starting her family, Christine worked as a mortgage broker, a preschool teacher and a tutor. She met her husband, Eusebio, at a language school in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, where she was studying Spanish. They have been married for over 30 years and have two amazing sons. They reside in Los Angeles, California, where Christine was born and raised.
Their oldest son recently graduated from Whittier College in California with a BA in Film and a minor in Screenwriting and is currently working on a feature film due to be released in 2026.
Their youngest son has dyslexia and is an All American, All CIF cheerleader who cheered competitively since the fourth grade. After an exhaustive search for a university that offered a D1 sports program and the necessary academic support required for their son to maintain his eligibility, a college counselor suggested U of A because of its excellent SALT program. The moment they stepped on UA’s magnificent campus, they all knew that this was the place for their son. He is currently in his sophomore year (class of ‘27) majoring in Sociology with a minor in Criminology. He has been a UA cheerleader for the past two years and just recently made the team again for his upcoming junior year. With the unwavering and exemplary support of the SALT program, he has flourished academically and is thriving.
Christine wishes to pay forward all the positive support and guidance she and her family have received from so many at UA to other families currently attending or looking to attend this wonderful and extraordinary university.
