Getting Active…. Getting through Finals
Dear Wildcat Parents,
As the semester comes to an end, stress and anxiety are common occurring themes that tend to pop up. With May less than a month away and finals week coming up, Wildcats will be studying until they can’t anymore. Take some time to give your students a call and check up on them, to see how they are and if they need any help. The added stress and anxiety around this time of year can be a hassle to your students, and Campus Rec can help.
The number one thing students need to do to de-stress is get active. Getting active has shown to improve student’s moods, increase productivity, and above all else better one’s well-being. After studying for hours on end students need a break. There’s no better way than going to one of the rec centers on campus. Campus Rec offers many different services to help your students de-stress in their time of need. This includes but is not limited to fitness classes (Yoga, HIIT, Zumba, Cardio Dance, F45), lap swimming, weight room/gym accessibility, and even a rock-climbing wall. And if that doesn’t meet their needs, they also have the ability to rent outdoor equipment to take a refreshing break. Campus Rec strives for nothing less than improving the overall well-being of our Wildcats.
