CAMPUS RECREATION UPDATE
Keeping You Informed about Coronavirus
At Campus Recreation, our number one priority is your safety. In response to the Coronavirus, we have increased our cleaning schedules within the facilities, working closely with custodians to disinfect check-in points like the registration desk/finger veins entrances, front door handles, and bathrooms/locker rooms with solutions that kill the COVID-19 virus. Per the CDC, the chemicals in recreational pools are effective at removing or inactivating the virus.
We encourage you to continue using proper prevention techniques in the Rec Centers: wipe down equipment (before and after usage), wash your hands frequently (20 seconds with soap preferred or use hand sanitizer), cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing (use a tissue or your sleeve, not your hands), avoid touching your face, practice social distancing (6 feet between people), and stay home when sick.
The University of Arizona has created a website to convey all relevant messaging regarding the Coronavirus to students & parents, faculty & instructors, and staff. This website includes the latest information from Campus Health and the CDC, along with all communications from the Provost and President's offices.
