Staying on track towards achieving New Year resolutions is not always an easy feat for your Wildcat - the stress of schoolwork, the abundance of social activities, and the desire to do it all can become overwhelming! This semester, help your student achieve their resolutions by guiding them towards a healthy school, work, and life balance.

Having the right tools is necessary to get and stay organized during the semester. While in-between classes, your Wildcat can stop by the University of Arizona BookStores to refresh some of their school essentials like a planner, notebooks, and a backpack. Students are now able to pay with CatCa$h at the BookStores, and they can use their Bursar’s account now until April 10th. To use these types of payment, your student just needs their CatCard - whose office will soon conveniently be located on the first floor of the BookStores, SUMC location! Equipping your student with the proper tools allows them to stay on top of their to-do list when it comes to assignment deadlines.

Moreover, the proper technology helps your student work efficiently and communicate effectively. If they are wanting to upgrade their technology, the BookStores is currently offering $25 off their purchase of a eligible MacBook Air or MacBook Pro until March 26th; however, if your student is interested in purchasing other types of technology, the BookStores also offers an Academic Discount to all students. The right tech gear allows your student to keep up with their workload in both, school and work environments.

After a long day of hard work, your Wildcat is ready to enjoy the social activities college has to offer, from celebrating Black History Month to cheering on our Cats at basketball games. February 1st marks the beginning of Black History Month and a celebration of diversity progress, and unity. During the month, your Wildcat is challenged to listen first, then act. They can learn to do so through the Tucson Humanities Festival spring series that the College of Humanities offers. While celebrating an important month, your student can also support our Women’s and Men’s basketball teams. Make sure they’re geared up, not only in red and blue, but with a surgical-grade face mask too!

Staying on track to achieve New Year’s resolutions is never easy but guiding your student to balance their academic, professional, and personal life helps take a weight off their shoulders in achieving their goals.
